Default May Street Show

I'm thinking that if the club would like a laminate image to put into goody bags from carscene, I could make some. I wonder how many?

By all accounts the Main street Blossum Festival car show was
a success.
Between the Poker walks and the 50/50 over $700 dollars was
won as well as the many door prizes (I won another hat, everybody
else always seems to get the good stuff!)
Lots a cars, the fire trucks were neat, a sound off, Chile cookoff,
great music, GREAT WEATHER! PRETTY GIRLS! the list goes on&on
And I piged out at Bob's after,thanks!

Default Blossum Festival Car Show

I'm happy to announce that the Creston Valley Cruisers
have taken on the responsability of hosting the Blossum
Festival Car Show. Jeff Dashwood will still be incharge.
Any ideas or concerns should be forwarded to Jeff, the
Cruiser site or myself. Truly looking forward to a great

Would anybody be interested in a Burnout Competition
across from the cop shop!. After initial discussion with Bev
Caldwell today I think it just might happen!

The last time I think a burnout competition was held in the Creston area, they got carried away with safety. I understand they had to chain cars to anchores blocks! Otherwise I could if they don't get crazy.

hey Bob!
Saftey will be of concern here too.
We are planning on building a
portable unit that would have the front
tires strapped down . The car would not move
the rear tires would be on steel plate.
I think everyone would get a real kick outta
your red tires!!
We allready have sponsors for the fall show
if we do it with real decent prizes!

A burnout competition is always a cool addition... too bad the Nelson one got squashed. Gotta make sure everyone knows whats actually happening there unlike an older Nelson lady who wrote a letter to the local newspaper:

I can't believe someone would pile up a bunch of tires and light them on fire!!

On another note, i havent heard anymore talk about the fall show and the swap meet that might happen there? Im pretty excited about it, my schedule is usually so packed i don't think ive been to one in years and i want to participate too!

Our venues for the fall show aren't very condusive to a swap-meet.
I personally won't be active searching for them but there has been
some interest and any that did attend would be set up as vendors.
We have been trying to attract vendors to our show. I think a vendor
alley along the road in the park would be cool.
I 'm always open to ideas and imput from all. If you have a complaint
or an idea I wanna hear it. It can be here for all to see or PM me.
My goal is FUN! I first heard it from Wally Yep ( hope that 's correct spelling)
It's all about "Sh!ts and Giggles"

I thought that the proposed swap meet was a separate deal from the car show, and was just on the same weekend?
