Can Your Six-Cylinder do this?

Bench Seat, Column Shift Auto, Six Cylinder, 1 Barrel, Powder Blue. Yeah, I was surprised when it did this too!


It was only about 11 feet, and the cars' only a one legger but I couldn't stop laughing! ;) Today was just a tune-up session to get the timing where the car has good manners and I rebuilt the carb a few weeks ago. I was in drive and just firewalled it. The car woke right up and didn't even hesitate to lay a little rubber.

Next time maybe I'll actually try! This was just a "I wonder what it'll do?" session. I think I like the Comp 252 cam I stuff in. The car has really woken up - it's a completely different car now. Maybe it helps that all 6 are working! Once I swap in the 3.08 rear end, it should be really peppy.

The old 225 Swinger seems like a tank in comparison.
