Cruisn´ the Columbia Car Show
June 28 , 2014 will be the 6th annual Smoke ´n Steel "Cruisin´ the Columbia" show & shine, this event will be held in the same location as last year at Gyro park in Trail B.C. which features a grass area for parking the exhibits on and numerous shade trees to keep things cool. There will be a little something there for everyone so bring the family down and enjoy the day perusing the vehicles. Show opens to the public at 11:00 AM and will run to 3:00 PM.
A long standing tradition of the West Kootenay Smoke ´n Steel show & shine is hand crafted, one of a kind trophies that are made locally by the club members themselves. It is impossible to get these anywhere else, they are as original and unique as the cars that they are awarded to. At last years show there where 40+ trophies handed out over a wide range of categories, we expect there will be as many if not more up for grabs in 2014. Trophies are handed out at 3:00 PM. This year we would like to have all of the winners stay for an extra half hour give or take after the show so our photographer has a chance to get a picture of all of the winning entries.
If you have a vehicle that you want to put in the show we will have on site registration the price is only $20 per registrant no matter how many vehicles you want to show off. If all you want to do is enjoy the vehicles then come on out and spend the day with a bunch of car buffs, spectator admission is completely free for all ages. See you there!
