Looking like I'll have three Hornets there this year. My two, plus a friend from Salmo. '73, '74 & '75. Should prove to be interesting and I hope we get good spots this year.

Here's our plan if anyone wants to join our little gang of traveling gearheads. We're meeting at Kal Tire in Nelson, located at the end of Baker st. around 1:00pm Friday afternoon. From there we are going to cruise out the lake to the BBI then probably stop at Kokanee creek park to hang out for a bit. BBQ at my place around 6:00 for delicious smoked meat and beers until you're too fat and drunk to stumble down the hill.

We just put a new bad-ass motor in our buddy Gabe's hot rod yesterday so we'll be showing that and our new altered wheelbase on Saturday. I've already started warning my neighbors that I'll be firing the race car before 7:00 Saturday morning. Sucks to be them.

Should be a good weekend.

They were chewing up the road on top of the hill Saturday morning so we came home that afternoon via the ferry and lake road... what a great day for a car show and a cruise!
