Summer Drag Racin'

At some point one weekend this Summer, there will be a small group heading to Spokane to go drag racin'......if any of you folks are interested, let's maybe pick a weekend that will work......I went last year and had a blast....but I found out I do need slicks......it was a blast anyways.....just post here if you think you may want to run what ya brung down the track....:cool:

YA I'd be in, would be a blast with a bunch ya know.
was at the Mustang meet there last year, look like a nice track
Maybe post a schedule to see if we can agree on a date

Sounds like a plan. Give us as much notice as possible. We've already been down there this Spring for T&T. Great track now that they've fixed it up. I know it's far but you East Kootenay guys should try to make an Osoyoos race. We went last week and had a blast. They only race on the Sunday but we showed up Saturday night and helped them set-up. They let us "test" the lights and get as many passes as we wanted. Got a total of 14 hits over the weekend and I think the fees are $25.00. Next race is May 27th and we'll be there for sure going sideways in the altered.

Ok folks.....after a good look at the Spokane drag race schedule, it looks like Saturday, July 28th looks good....not a hell of alot happening there that night, except for the local bracket racers...should let people have lots of runs....let me know what ya think......

Damn Bob!...maybe we can swill beer after the races? I just threw that date out there......but it seems like a date that most folks can attend.....would it be possible to move your shindig to a before or after weekend? I would hate to think I de-railed one of your good old kegger Hootenannys.....it would haunt me for a year or better....

In case you folks are still thinking about hitting the track (any track that is) this Summer, we've been out four weekends so far and just won the straight axle shootout in Ashcroft. (Where's my horn? I must blow it) Contact me if you want to head out to Spokane, Kelowna, (Osoyoos is done until the Fall now) wherever. Mission old time drags is the last weekend of July. I am still intending on it. What is the plan for motels seeing as I don't have a camper:( ?

We're heading down Thursday and setting up at the track Friday morning. Come and find us in the pits and we'll tip some pints. Can't help you with motels unfortunately but a quick search of the area should turn up what you need. I would assume that everything close to the track will already be booked though.
